Polish Travel [#21] - Open-Air Museums in Poland
Etnographic museums, also known as open-air museums or countryside museums, preserve the architecture and culture of bygone times. Each site is unique in its structure and authentically presents local history. It is no surprise that the number of visitors to open-air museums is increasing every year, and the museums themselves attract families with increasingly interesting promotional actions and campaigns. Currently, there are about 30 ethnographic museums operating in the country. For easier location and planning of trips, we present a list of open-air museums in Poland divided by voivodeships.

PROMOTION OF OPEN-AIR MUSEUMS
During traditional guided tours for organized groups, most provide the opportunity to use the services of a local guide. When choosing a guide, the duration of the visit is about 2 hours. In addition to traditional tours, open-air museums offer numerous attractions. Almost every weekend, family picnics and various attractions are organized - reenactments, demonstrations of butter churning and preparing traditional dishes, knight shows, carriage rides, games and entertainment.
