BMX Freestyle at the European Games

In the town of Krzeszowice, near Kraków, a thrilling surprise awaits cycling acrobatics enthusiasts. It is here that a BMX park has been created as part of the European Games, where 80 athletes from around the world will compete. Their struggles can be watched on 21st and 22nd June. It is worth noting that this is the first such event in Poland. For spectators, there are 500 seats in the stands and an additional 2000 standing places, so it's better to hurry up with purchasing tickets. The competition in Krzeszowice will carry the rank of European Championships and serves as qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
What is BMX Freestyle?
It is undoubtedly one of the youngest Olympic disciplines. The participants perform tricks of varying degrees of difficulty. Fluidity of movement, the number of obstacles tackled by the athlete, and the height at which the tricks are performed are also important. All these elements impact the judges' scores.
