Polish National Park
Polesie National Park - 1 of 23 national parks in Poland. One of two parks, alongside Roztocze National Park, located in the Lubusz Voivodeship. It was established in 1990 in the Łęczyńsko-Włodawskie Lakeland. The symbol and emblem of the park is the crane. In terms of area, it covers 9,762 hectares, making it the tenth largest national park in Poland by size. The park is divided into two parts - the entirety is divided by national road No. 82 connecting Lublin and Włodawa. Polesie National Park encompasses swampy areas and peat bogs, as well as numerous animal species that live here. The European pond turtle can be found in the park or in its headquarters in Urszulin. This is an important tourist attraction and an extremely interesting place in Poland.
