Jan Kochanowski Museum in Czarnolas
Jan Kochanowski was a poet of great stature. He wrote his works at royal courts, but his greatest pieces were created in a place he inherited from his parents, where he found peace and inspiration. It was Czarnolas that was a home and a beloved place for Kochanowski to create his great works.
PARK AROUND THE MUSEUM
The Jan Kochanowski Museum is located in a neoclassical building from the 19th century - the Jabłonowski manor. It consists of several rooms with exhibits dedicated to the poet. The museum is surrounded by a picturesque park with numerous attractions. Upon entering the park gate, there is a building for tickets and souvenirs. The main avenue leads from here to the museum building itself, as well as to a chapel located behind the museum and a pond, by which there is a boulder where Kochanowski often sat.
