Lubliniec
Lubliniec is one of the oldest towns in Silesia, with origins dating back to the 13th century. Due to its long history, the town has numerous historical landmarks, including;
the Castle on Grunwaldzka Street, currently a restored hotel which hosts the Knighthood Picnic every year, St. Nicholas Church, St. Stanislaus Kostka Church along with the monastery complex of the Oblates, the Chapel of St. Anne - a wooden structure from the 17th century with Baroque furnishings, located between the Old Town and the castle. St. Edith Stein Church on Żeromski Street - a temple built in honour of the town's patroness - Edith Stein, and the Pro Memoria Edith Stein Museum right by the charming Market Square with its historic tenements.
Attractions in Lubliniec include - the Karting Track at Oleska Street 18 - where you can try driving small open-wheel racing cars known as karts.
In the nearby village of Kokotek, there is a small bathing lake called “Posmyk” where a MINI ZOO has been established.
