Poland Travel [#36] - Popular Seaside Resorts
Tourism is returning to normal, along with our holiday plans. As every year, some places will be more popular than others. Where will Poles prefer to vacation by the sea?
Sarbinowo
This small seaside resort is said to be the hit of this summer. Located near Mielno, it offers equally beautiful views but with more peace and lower prices. Free accommodations are reportedly disappearing like fresh rolls, so one must hurry. The long and wide beach will surely accommodate everyone.
Sopot
A Polish classic and a favourite resort for many residents of Poland. In addition to beautiful beaches, it can offer a rich cultural, party, and gastronomic life. The famous Monciak allows one to add a touch of glamour to their holiday, and the large number of bars and clubs makes one feel like they are in Ibiza during the holidays.
Łeba
Another place that needs no introduction. A classic choice for a holiday, but in addition to relaxation by the sea, Łeba also offers experiences like those in the Sahara. This refers to the famous moving sand dunes that stretch across the Słowiński National Park. The vast stretches of sand make a truly stunning impression – it’s the only such place in Poland.
Pobierowo
Another lesser-known destination that will lead the way this year. Located in the Rewal commune. Here we will see beautiful pine forests, cliffs, and dunes. Sailing regattas, fairs, and sporting events take place here. It is an alternative to larger and therefore more expensive locations.
Poland has a lot of beautiful seaside towns and resorts to offer, which gain and lose popularity over the years. What are your favourites? Perhaps you have discovered a gem?
