Lake Chechło-Nakło
Lake Chechło-Nakło is a very nice, somewhat forgotten leisure destination. It is characterised by sandy beaches, and its shoreline is formed by grasses, sands, and reed beds. Along the lake runs an asphalt path, and surrounding it are pine forests covering nearly 300 hectares. In terms of bacteriological quality, the water is very clean and meets class 1 purity standards; there are numerous recreational centres and a camping site around the lake, and there are rental places for water sports equipment such as kayaks, boats, and pedalos.
The lake is located by the Tarnowskie Góry–Częstochowa road. Nearby passes the route of the Upper Silesian Narrow Gauge Railways; Bytom – Miasteczko Śląskie.
