Table Mountain National Park
The Table Mountains National Park - established on 16th September 1993, covers an area of 6340.4 ha. In terms of size, it ranks 18th out of 23 national parks in Poland. The highest peaks of the Table Mountains and the National Park are Szczeliniec Wielki (919 m above sea level) and Skalniak (915 m above sea level). Its unique landscape is enriched by a large accumulation of various forms of sandstone erosion in the form of deep fissures, mazes, rock blocks, or unusual rock formations. The vegetation of the Table Mountains is dominated by spruce forests, and numerous protected species can also be found here. The Table Mountains National Park is an extraordinarily picturesque place in Poland.
