Kamianna
Located a few kilometres from Krynica-Zdrój is the village of Kamianna. It is an extraordinary place, as it is almost entirely dedicated to beekeeping, making use of the natural conditions. Among the numerous farms in the area, "Pasieka Barć" stands out, where besides purchasing honey and related products, you can see historical beehives, order coffee in the café, or stay overnight.
In the heart of hills and forests, surrounded by unspoiled nature, there is an enclave where you can observe the fascinating life of bees. It has long been known that consuming bee products is a gateway to health and good condition. The field of knowledge concerning the health properties of bee products is called apitherapy.
Bee apiary "BARĆ" Kamianna engages in three types of activities:
1. Breeding bee queens
2. Harvesting bee products and using them in apitherapy
3. Practical training for beekeepers and students from secondary and higher education
