Holiday Resort in Lucień
The holiday resort located by Lake Lucień was established for the employees of the Żyrardów Linen Industry Plant. The complex was presumably designed in 1972, and upon its opening, it impressed with a remarkably high standard. The complex consisted of four 'round houses', which served as residential buildings for holidaymakers. The rooms had bathrooms and kitchens, along with all necessary amenities. Guests could also enjoy a playground, a football pitch, a basketball court, and a tennis court.
The buildings have been put up for sale multiple times. Just a few years ago, everyday items were still inside, furniture was standing around, and curtains were hanging, all waiting for the next guests. Currently, the facility is vandalised and damaged.
