Ustroń

Ustroń is one of the most versatile holiday destinations in Poland. It is a place that can be visited at any time of the year. The town caters perfectly to the needs of young people, families, and seniors. There is something for everyone, including holidaymakers, mountain tourists, cyclists, and... spa guests.
Ustroń – a town of sanatoriums and pyramids
Ustroń is one of the most picturesque towns in the Silesian Beskids. Surrounded by green hills and divided by the ribbon of the Vistula River, it attracts both tourists eager for active leisure and spa guests looking for rejuvenation in sanatoriums. It was these establishments that contributed to the popularity of the place when, during the era of the Polish People's Republic, sanatoriums and holiday resorts were opened on the slopes of Równica, many of which took the shape of triangles or pyramids.
Ustroń is one of the most important health resorts in Poland. Peat and brine are mined here, which are successfully used during treatments in numerous sanatoriums, rehabilitation centres, and spa facilities. Interestingly, in recent years, the first seasons of the TVP show "Sanatorium of Love" were filmed here ????. No wonder, as Ustroń is a true haven for seniors, and not just for them!
Ustroń for tourists – mountains, forests, and trails
The natural surroundings are ideal for mountain hiking at any time of year, as well as for cycling and, in winter, for enjoying the ski slopes. The chairlift to Czantoria allows skiers, as well as more leisurely tourists, to reach the summit, while you can drive up to Równica. During the season, the parking spaces are packed, but the views remain breathtaking.
Ustroń for family holidays
As if that weren't enough, Ustroń is also a perfect place for a family holiday. The park located by the Vistula River features a large playground, nature boards, and games for the little ones. Of course, there are plenty of pathways for strolling (including with strollers) and bike trails. In summer, the lawn by the river is filled with blankets of sunbathers and the sounds of children splashing in the water. In other words – Ustroń is sure to meet the expectations of almost every tourist.
