The church is located on an island in a pond, and it can be circumnavigated, being connected to the street by a bridge.
Another characteristic place in Zwierzyniec is a commemorative rock block known as the "Locust Monument." It is an extraordinary witness to the events of 1711. It bears the inscription: "In memory of the extermination of the migratory locust that arrived in these areas on August 27, 1711. Wólka, Ulów, Zielone, Łabunie, Szarowola, Czołomyja, Przeorsk. 656 korcy of living locusts were destroyed, and 555.5 garncy of the insect's eggs were dug up. A total of 14,000 man-days of work were utilized for this. God threatened the people, but with faith, work disarms His anger and averts disaster."
Other notable places in Zwierzyniec include:
- A brewery established in 1806, operating intermittently to this day,
- A two-hundred-year-old mill by the Świerszcz River, which currently houses the "Mill" inn,
- Historical buildings that once belonged to the Zamoyski family, which now accommodate the General Secondary School,
- The building of the Museum and Headquarters of the Roztocze National Park,

Zwierzyniec is an excellent place for various forms of relaxation - hiking, cycling, and kayaking - it offers a kayaking trip on the Wieprz River from Otrocz to Zwierzyniec. Many walking and cycling trails intersect here in all directions of Roztocze. For culture and film enthusiasts, the Summer Film Academy is organized annually.
