Poniatowa
Poniatowa is a town in the Lublin Voivodeship with approximately 9,000 inhabitants. In 1962, a tuberculosis sanatorium was opened here, and the same year, Poniatowa was granted town rights. It is known for the now-defunct "EDA" Mechanical Household Equipment Factory and the choir "Szczygiełki," which is also known outside the country, as well as for its hospital and sanatorium specialising in the treatment of lung diseases and tuberculosis. Today, it is an extraordinarily picturesque and peaceful town. It is also worth visiting the historic train station building and, during the summer, enjoying the many attractions offered by the water bodies in the town centre.
