Saint Otylia Sanctuary in Urzędów

The Sanctuary of Saint Odile in Urzędów - when traveling along the road from Dzierzkowice to Urzędów in the Lublin Voivodeship, you pass a nondescript forest path lined with marble monuments on both sides. The Avenue of Saints leads to the Sanctuary of Saint Odile - a wooden chapel located above a spring. Saint Odile, the healer of eye, throat, and headache ailments, became the Patroness of Urzędów, and its residents believe that the water from the spring cures these very illnesses. This is an incredibly charming place, and if you happen to be passing nearby, it's worth stopping by. It is an important tourist attraction and an exceptionally interesting place in Poland.
