The Church and Monastery of the Pauline Fathers in Włodawa
The Church and Monastery of the Pauline Fathers in Włodawa - a Roman Catholic parish dedicated to Saint Louis in Włodawa. It was built between 1701 and 1718, which followed the arrival of the Pauline Fathers in Włodawa in 1698. Previously, on the site of the current Church, wooden chapels stood, which were damaged, mainly by fires. Currently, there is a brick Temple and the Monastery of the Pauline Fathers (the same ones who care for Jasna Góra in Częstochowa). Both buildings were thoroughly restored in 1999 and majestically dominate the landscape of Włodawa and its surroundings by the Bug River. It is an important tourist attraction and an incredibly interesting place in Poland.
