Kamieńczyk Waterfall
Kamieńczyk Waterfall - the highest waterfall in the Karkonosze Mountains is located at an altitude of 843 m above sea level, where masses of water cascade down in a three-step waterfall with a height of 27 m into the stunning Kamieńczyk Gorge. The gorge is about 100 m long, and its vertical rock walls reach over 25 m in height. Behind the middle cascade of the waterfall, there is a cave known as the "Golden Chamber" filled with pegmatite and amethyst clusters. Near the waterfall, there is a shelter named "Kamieńczyk" and "Szałas Sielanka".
Interestingly, director Andrew Adamson filmed scenes here for the British adaptation of C.S. Lewis's book "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian". In Kamieńczyk Gorge, with its vertically rising rock walls and the sound of water falling from a height, one can truly feel a fairy-tale atmosphere.
Entrance to Kamieńczyk Gorge daily from 9:00 to 17:00 is paid;
single tickets: 6 PLN regular, 3 PLN reduced (the price includes the rental of safety helmets).
