Museum of Folk Culture in Kolbuszowa
The Museum of Folk Culture in Kolbuszowa - an open-air museum in the town of Kolbuszowa in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, transporting visitors back to the 19th and 20th centuries. The museum showcases the times of the Rzeszowiaks and the Lasowiaks, who inhabited these areas at the turn of the centuries. On nearly 30 hectares, around 80 wooden architectural objects are exhibited. The site is located by the River Nil, creating an incredibly charming ethnographic park. Among the characteristic buildings of the open-air museum are: the Church from Rzechów dedicated to St. Mark the Evangelist, a watermill, a set of windmills, a fire station, an inn, and an oil mill. The buildings and their surroundings exceptionally capture the atmosphere of the 19th century. Open-air events are regularly organized here. The Museum of Folk Culture in Kolbuszowa is an interesting place in Poland and offers a great proposal for active leisure.
