Malbork Castle
Malbork Castle - the most famous castle in Poland, once belonging to the Teutonic Order. Built in Gothic style by the Teutons between 1274 and 1457. It is an excellent example of medieval defensive architecture. Constructed of brick, surrounded by a moat, situated on the right bank of the Nogat River. The castle consists of the Lower Castle, Outer Castle, Middle Castle, and High Castle. A visit to the castle takes about 3 hours (depending on the chosen route), and in addition to the halls and chambers, there are extensive collections of weaponry and amber. It is an important tourist attraction and an incredibly interesting place in Poland.
